Tank-water mixing can eliminate thermal stratification and improve water quality by maintaining a homogeneous mixture inside the tank. It is also less costly than passive systems.

This study assessed the environmental impact of three options to enhance tank water mixing: mechanical mixers, multiple inlets, and internal pipe sprinklers.

The GS line also includes the more traditional round, square, and rectangular designs in a variety of sizes and colors. The GS models are powered by the Pulsair ETM controller which allows for precision tank mixing that is easy to read and control. The best part? a nifty programmable touchscreen interface that makes data entry fun and painless. The ETM controller has a number of features like an integrated alarm system and automatic startup and shutdown functions. The GS model is an excellent candidate for a mobile installation allowing for more hands-on management and less downtime at your facility or job site.

Getting ingredients to mix well in the tank starts with the right amount of product, in the right order, and with enough water. The SM Series is a floor-to-surface mixing solution that provides complete top to bottom mixing in any potable water tank. It’s designed to be installed without draining the tank and can be removed easily for tank inspections and ongoing maintenance.

Tankproinc’s SMX Series of water mixing systems delivers the power, versatility, and efficiency that industrial applications require. Suitable for blending liquids and suspending or dissolving solids, these units are ideal for a variety of industries, including paints, dyes and polymers, pharmaceuticals, textile sizes, and many more.

The SMX is powered by a single-phase, direct-drive motor and features a 3-inch tri-clamp flange and shaft coupler. It is NSF/ANSI 61 certified and comes with a three-year warranty.
